Amblygonite

Amblygonite is located in an array of colours from white, pink, green, and blue to golden yellow and , more rarely, colourless. Large, transparent to translucent crystals may occur, but, as amblygonite is comparatively soft, they're cut solely for collectors. Amblygonite can also be found as cleavable or compact masses.
Amblygonite can be found in pegmatites. Brazil may be the supply of most gem-quality material, but it's also found in the United States. A pale mauve variety happens in Namibia.
Amblygonite may be wrongly identified as brazilianite and scapolite.
